Hi! Thanks for viewing my profile. I am looking for a best friend/soulmate. I'm very comfortable on my own but would like to find someone to hang out with, date and take it from there...

My friends would describe me as easy going, friendly person who likes to laugh and have fun. I am willing to try almost anything once. I don't tell a lot of jokes with punch lines, but I do like to find the humor in everyday situations. I am also sincere, honest, supportive and a good listener.

I have children living at home, but they are almost 19 and 20 years of age. Both of them are still in the "launching" process (as one of my friends says), living at home, working and going to school. In addition to my children I have a pit bull mix dog, puppy and 2 cats that live with me. I am an animal lover that has been vegetarian for over 2 years. I am also interested in spiritualism and metaphysics.

My children and work have kept me very busy over the last couple of years, but now that my kids are adults I have more time to pursue hobbies and interests. I have always admired artistic people, and although I am mostly a left brain thinker I am trying to do some things like paint and write to bring out my creativity. I plan on buying an acoustic guitar in the next couple of months and learning to play it. I enjoy cooking, going out to eat, watching movies, and listening to music (mostly alt rock). I like staying at home and having good conversations, as well as taking day trips to historical sites, amusement parks, flea markets, or anywhere that seems interesting. Although I don't consider myself the athletic type I am open to doing outdoor activities
