Love vegan restaurants cuz I can order anything! I am passionate about conservation, animal and children's rights. It is part of my being and who I am. I have tried to connect with guys who are not vegan and although they say they do not judge, that is not enough: I want to be be with someonone who understands on cellular level why vegans choose this lifestyle. I want someone who incorporates compassion into his daily life. I enjoy my internet connections with other activists around the world. I also contribute to Sea Shepherd and am interested in getting more involved now that I am an empty-nester. I do protests when I have time, although I believe direct action is most effective. I also volunteer in my area as an advocate for abused children who have been taken into foster care by the state.

I understand, though, the need for balance in life and it would be nice to have someone who knows that balance gives energry to do difficult advocacy.

I love to travel, hike, go on wine tastings, go to movies, theatre productions and eat out at quirky, non-chain restaurants with at least one good vegan meal I have not done much of this lately because after returning from living overseas and divorcing a few years ago, I got my last child graduated and then focused on my volunteer and animal rights issues. I am ready, now, to expand my world and meet others who share my lifestyle and passions.

I am looking for a relationship, but experience has shown me that very few meetings progress to relationships; I have met many great friends where the chemistry was not relationship chemistry, and I would like to meet vegan friends, too.
