Some male company would be nice for a change I am looking for someone to enrich my life, beginning with friendship - if romance follows then lovely but not compulsory (giggle) I am fun loving, warm, good listener (an even better talker), sensitive, caring & don't take myself too seriously. I love the arts - galleries full of paintings & sculptures, music, theatre, literature, architecture, cinema etc. I will pretty much try anything once although pot holing is a definite no - don't do dark confined spaces. I love nature and was born in the country (Scotland) I like gardening & walking & have taken an interest in golf recently as it combines the outdoors with exercise. However I haven't got past reading a few books so far as the gym & aquarobics keep me quite busy. I am currently on a diet & have lost over a stone & feel I have a couple more to go. I use to be a size ten in my thirties & would like to get back to that but a size 12 may be more realistic now I am older. I have an hour glass figure & am quite tall. However if you are a man who has a problem with weight I'm not your gal. I'd love my weight not to fluctuate but I am a realist. I am always clean & presentable with practically a permanent smile & I believe I have lots to offer but I am not interested in men who are ---- up on the superficial in others and themselves (that goes for material possessions, status etc too) The man who would appeal to me would care about others which include environmental, race, poverty, animal welfare etc issues, these are things very close to my heart & as a result I am a vegan. I would prefer a vegetarian or vegan partner. I'm a qualified counsellor & use to work at a GP & my own private practice. Currently I am on a sabbatical & am volunteering at an elderly people's centre whilst looking for a paid admin/customer service/finance post. I am quite happy to go for a walk in the park or have a coffee as a 1st (or 2nd or 3rd) meeting so finance need not be a barrier. I look forward to getting to know you & vice versa.
