I am vegan because I care enough about animals to choose not to hurt them and it is not necessary for me to do that.
I eat a plant-based diet because it supports my love of animals and it has the additional benefit of being healthy.
Additionally, my diet is primarily within the guidelines of the Natural Hygiene movement, which was established by American Medical Doctors more than 150 years ago.
Additionally, I am straight-edge, meaning I don't do recreational drugs.
One more thing about me: I am agnostic -- not atheist or *theist.
