i am hoping to find someone on this site with whom i'm compatible, and i thought narrowing my potential matches to vegans and vegetarians would bring me into contact with people who share some of my interests.
I am a relatively happy person now--my child is going off to college and i will therefore have more time on my hands.
I guess i could describe myself as pretty low maintenance; my likes are pretty simple. I like to read--love to read when i find a great book. Right now I am very interested in historical biographies.
I adopted a dog last year and i spend a lot of time with him. I try to take him on a hike every day.
It's taken a while for me to get to where I am, and I realize there's a lot further for me to go, but I am at a point where I am aware that i can't eat meat for humanitarian reasons.
