I'm someone who forms very intense friendships, but my relationships tend to be short lived. I think more than anything I'm looking for someone who can be my friend first and my partner second. I think that's why I'm trying this site. I want to find someone I have things in common with, and a passion for the ethical treatment of animals seems like a good place to start.

I've been vegetarian for years, but I only became vegan this year. A good friend of mine started participating in chicken rescues and the stories they told me of the way egg-laying hens were treated made me sick. So I became vegan.

I spent my early twenties running a small non-profit working on LGBT rights here in San Diego. I left that job a while ago now, and I currently work at luxury condo complex. To be honest I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with my life.

I'm definitely a bit of a nerd: Sci-fi/fantasy all the way. I try to read a couple books month. I love hiking, getting in the ocean, and going on bike rides. I volunteer at a local thrift store, and am currently looking for more places to volunteer.

Above anything else I'm just trying to live life as good, ethical, con------- person. I'm looking to find friendship, and maybe even love.
