If music be the food of love...then Jazz is a vegan...not sure that entirely makes sense, but reflects my raison d'etre...I love food, but not cruelty, and am passionate about music, playing listening, dancing to, talking about...you get the idea!
Hi, I am Helen, vegan, single, and looking to meet some groovy men who possibly share my passions. When it comes to veganism, I guess I'm a bad person, because I'm not really millitant about it, except when people really wind me up about my choices...I believe that I am a very privillaged person living here in the west, with the ability to choose my dietary preferences, not everyone is so fortunate. I wouldn't try and convert people to veggi-ness, it's their choice...maybe because of this, I don't really know any other vegan folkes, even tho I have 'been this way' for 15 years...I move in different circles!!!
So yes, circles...Music really is what drives me (drives me MAD!!!) I play violin and trombone(I'm not saying I am any good...I just do it!)and tinker on other things too. I love going to see live music, and really think most styles of music have some merit if played with passion and skill. Mostly I go to see jazz, fusion, classic rock(that's an awful term!)and folk/world, not so keen on the beepy computer stuff.
Would like to have some fun with someone where I can relax about food, and not having to have 'that' conversation all night about 'why'!
Other things I do...I work with adults with learning disability, I love yoga, walking, reading, films...all the usual stuff...I'm an arts grad, still fling a little paint around from time to time...think that will do for now!!!
