I'm a gentle, quiet, kind, warm, and open man. I practice peace and voluntary simplicity. I've found the Buddhist tradition, especially the teachers Thich Nhat Hanh and Bhante Vimalaramsi, very helpful in living well, but I don't think Buddhism is the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

I care deeply about such social and political issues as imperialism, globalization, environmental degradation, poverty, and animal exploitation and abuse.

I like being in nature, close to animals, and enjoy art galleries, museums, plays, and concerts. I'm not interested in late-night parties with loud music and alcohol.

I'd like to be with a woman who shares my basic values and who has the softness and strength of real love.
