Not one of the crowd I would describe myself as a sincere, 'real' person, who is loyal, reliable, sensitive, non-judgmental/ supportive partner, compassionate, complex and a freethinker. I am definitely not your average woman: I enjoy having deep philosophical discussions and have a commitment to social justice values; I don’t have ‘girly conversations’; and I’m not obsessed with babies or hair. lol Equally, I am not looking for ‘the average man’ (e.g. someone fanatical about football and cars). Essentially, I am looking for a man who doesn’t follow the crowd/ is not afraid to be different. I am also looking for someone who:

*is SINCERELY looking for a long term relationship/ soulmate;

*is looking to make a meaningful connection/have a strong capacity for emotional intimacy;

*shares my view that a couple of good friends is better than multiple shallow friendships;

*has a commitment to social justice values;

*is an empathetic and non-judgmental partner.

A little more about me:
In 2007, I was lucky enough to land a job in Atlanta - the exact city I wanted to be in. Prior to Atlanta, I spent much of my life in the UK. As a child, I also lived for a few years in Nigeria and the US.

I spent a lot of my youth on my education, and as a result, I must confess that I did not focus enough on my relationships. At this point in my life, I am committed to finding a truly compatible life partner/ ‘soulmate’, and this is at the top of my priorities.

I should also say I am not a camping/ hiking type of person or an 'animal/pets' person...paradoxically, I probably care more about animal rights than many so-called animal lovers in that I can't get my head around eating meat for ethical reasons - I've eliminated red meat from my diet and hardly eat turkey or chicken anymore....I would eventually like to become vegan (I guess that sounded defensive but there seems to be a stigma about not being crazy about pets - so that's my excuse!).
