One vegan in a omnivore's hotpot. I'm a student of philosophy from the country. Since I've turned vegan, I've found that even many of my friends ridicule me and have even detached themselves from me to some extent. I feel a bit torn between my ethical decisions and the pressure put on me by my peers, and alone. I'm basically looking to talk with anyone who understands my choices, and won't think its necessarily pretentious, attention-seeking, superior, or "hippy-ish."
