I am a Brazilian vegan female that recently and definitely turned into a Vegan. I can no longer accept is ok to hurt animals to fulfill human's need.
I feel it is time to find a partner that shares or has similar views. To make new friends would also be nice as I feel even more distant of people part of this BBQ culture.
