I suppose I'm here first and foremost for the same reasons as everyone else. After a string of less-than-healthy relationships following my conversion to veganism and lifelong vegetarianism I came to realize I couldn't be in an honest relationship with anyone whose eyes weren't open to the pain and suffering, as mine were.
