She is We I was having dinner with my friend to celebrate his fifth veganniversary recently, and he brought up dating.
"For me, I've dated plenty of vegans, and that isn't enough in itself. I want spend my time with someone who cares about animal rights and realizes that it is worth dedicating serious effort for that cause."
"I feel exactly the same way, but those people are very few and very far between."
"Yeah, I don't know if I'll ever find someone else that makes me feel that way, but I've got to try, and in the meantime I think I'm done with just dating anyone simply because they're vegan."
*sigh*
My fifth veganniversary is coming up very soon as well.

Outside of my animal rights activism, I enjoy hiking, adventures, board games, building things, one-on-one conversations, visiting museums, and asking unusual questions. I dislike bars and conservatives. I work as a Contract Analyst for a company that administers certain types of Trust Funds (I know that sounds dreadfully boring, but the work actually does a lot to benefit ordinary people and there is interesting history behind the work itself too).

I have ordinary hobbies (such as sports), some unusual ones (such as shooting my homemade pneumatic pickle launcher), and a strong fondness of science as well.
