New to Oregon I'm a creative, free-thinking, animal-loving, nerdy, genuine, pseudo-photographer and musician. As an INFJ, I have the rarest of all the Meyers-Briggs personality types. Experiences mean WAY more to me than stuff ever will. I feel my best when I get plenty of fresh air, sunshine, and time to appreciate the beauty of nature, so I go biking or trail running frequently. I have a car, but I try to bike commute whenever possible. I also love hiking and biking and have a natural ability to play most sports (basketball, baseball, golf and tennis are my favorites).

One of my favorite things to do is go to concerts in smaller, more intimate venues. I know that everyone loves music, but it truly is my greatest passion. I write a lot of instrumental songs on my acoustic whenever I can find the spare time, and I'm always expanding my (rather large) music and instrument collection. Talking to people about their passions and creative pursuits energizes me.

When I was younger, I wanted to work in the music industry in some capacity. I toyed with the idea of going to recording engineer's school or luthier's school (to build guitars) while schlepping around in a little garage band and working full-time for about 6 years after high school. I eventually decided that getting a degree was the best option for me, so I moved from Lawrence, KS to Fort Collins, CO to go to school.

I just finished my undergrad in May, moved to Portland (somewhat on a whim) last August, and relocated to Eugene the first week of January for a job at So Delicious Dairy Free! It's kind of a vegan's dream job... BUT, I'm already thinking about grad school and have started studying to take the GRE.

I don't really know anyone in Eugene, and it would be awesome to get to know some fellow vegetarians/vegans in the area.
