I'm a computer scientist. I like my job. I could see myself moving elsewhere in a few years (re: when I finish paying bills), but for now I've set root in Tucson and am forcing myself to re-cultivate my hobbies albeit slowly.

Now, what am I looking for? Friends, fun, groups, and of course, dates.
I'll probably not pull an attention deficit moment with you if you satisfy any decent fraction of the following criteria (or alternatively, you are a stable, open-minded, reasonable person who can cut through bs):
If legos and origami ever dominated some part of your life that you hold dear to your heart.
If you watch Doctor Who for the improbable plot devices and the MacGuyver effect.
If you think Joss Whedon rocks.
If you like to research or require citations in your discussions.
If you think your life could be a plot thread in the movie Amelie, as opposed to a drama-queen soap opera.
If your own personal tragedies are not the only topics you know how to discuss.
If you think exercise is cool and are not a vampire.
If you think ANY bad breath is disgusting.
If you think cats and humans were not meant to be housemates. I like cats, but I just can't stand to live with them.
If you think jogging, roller-blading, and biking are all highly-appealing.
If xkcd and somethingpositive are among your favorite webcomics.
If you are not afraid of colored people. (Seriously. I mean it.)
If you can stand hanging out with someone who in all likelihood weighs as much or less than you.(But I'm working on that!)
If you watched Religulous and loved it.
If you read "Eats, Shoots, and Leaves"
If you think Science Magazine and Make Magazine are the most awesome magazines ever.
If you have some ambition.
If you like Herbie Hancock.
If you like Richard Cheese.
If you clean up your plate immediately after you finish eating.
If you do not like racist jokes.
If you actually read this far, because this is about as nerdy as they come.
