While I'm fond of all these things, I have a lot of responsibilities in my life with my school, work, and family. I strive for balance with work and play.

I'm in the final stretch of a PhD program, working on my dissertation. I have a cool job doing what I love! I am a proud dad and care for my son half of the week.

I maintain a vegan diet. I have been vegan for 21 years. I love to cook for myself and others. I'm known to cook up some great food with whatever random ingredients I can find in my kitchen. I also like to take out the cook books every now and then.

If you are into hiking, snowboarding, mountain biking, outdoor adventures, being silly, funny movies, dancing, philosophizing, or the vegan/vegetarian movement we will have some important things in common.
