Davegan, 48

I am obsessed with being the best vegan I can be. I attend lots of vegan social and AR events and am very active in the community.

Since I've entered my 30s and going from vegetarian to vegan, I've decided that I want nothing more than to meet the right person, settle down and eventually raise vegan children.

I am currently working on a MA in Edu. In addition, I work for a proveg company that is health geared and also wait tables sometimes.

I love to travel. I drove cross country after college and saw much of the US. I used to spend entire summers traveling while I was teaching. I also visited France in 1998.

I just ran in the 8k in November with a veg running team. It was a such an amazing feeling to finish that I cannot wait to do it again. I am currently training to run the 1/2 marathon in the spring with plans to run the entire marathon the following spring. I also attend yoga when I am not running.

I love to read and write. I am currently reading Eating Animals that I managed to get signed when Foer was here in Philadelphia.

I have resuced lab rat, named Pinky who He was lucky enough to escape death when a university surrendered him to a local animal organization.

What else about me:
*I hate needles but still manage to give blood
*I think it's healthy to have your alone time as well as your own interests outside of a relationship
*I think that the right person should compliment, rather than complicate you
*I have been told that I am an excellent communicator (as well as a fair fighter)
*I don't believe in saying 'nothing' then getting angry later because you didn't read my mind
*I am also quirky but in a funny, unscary way
*I laugh at most things
*I think bad boys are actually bad
*I believe in giving back to the world by donating my time and energy to worthy causes
*I am not afraid to get my hands dirty
*I am fun!
