Isn't it hard not to sound po-faced in this description? Despite the apparent earnestness of my introductory statement I'm someone with a deepy surreal sense of humour who finds herself at odds with most of society's values yet full of love, enthusiasm and creativity...surely we can work out a better way to live than the one most people settle for? I'm a published author, artist, il----rator and activist so a really creative person. I used to be a tattoo artist and a teacher but got too ill to continue(it's non-fatal, non-contagious and only a pain to me). Because of my pesky health I've lost touch with a lot of the friends I had and now find myself needing to make new ones. I crave the company of switched on, fired up, caring people who still give a s--- about the things most people lose interest in when they 'grow up'. I love juicy discussions about things that matter and want to get involved and do my bit to make a difference, hopefully with enthusiastic, committed companions to share this with. I've been vegetarian since I was 15 (31 years, work it out!) and as vegan as possible for the last few years. I'm not a militant vegan, I just try my very best every day to cause the least suffering possible. I want to meet more veg/vegans please or anyone who is compassionate. Please say hello wherever you are! I am really looking for friends I can meet up with and have a real friendship, not a virtual relationship. Thanks for reading and lots of love to you.
