I've been vegan since 1999. I live in Guilin, China for most of the year and the other time is spent with my family in Northern Virginia, just outside DC. I enjoy listening to all types of music (esp. reggae, country, folk, dub, hip-hop, trance, jazz, jamband, classical, and anything mellow, headboppin, or foot-tappin). I watch lots of movies from around the world, read, read, read, play basketball and ultimate frisbee, dance like a madman hipster, practice yoga, study Chinese, hike, rock climb, cook vegan food, fast and cleanse.

I'm vegan to protect the environment and all living creatures in the world. I believe that consumption of meat directly leads to disease, anger, and much of the hatred in this world.
