Bottlenose, 77

I moved to Ireland from the UK about 20 years ago for a change of lifestyle. I live in a self-built stone, timber and strawbale house. This is not quite complete but comfortable. I try to grow most of my veg and harvest my trees for a wood burning stove. I am off grid and have no TV. I work part time, as an assistant to people with disabilities, so that I pay little tax and have time to do the things I enjoy, these include gardening, reading, playing badminton, exploring Ireland and swimming in the sea with a friendly wild Dolphin (when I can find her). I've been doing the last of these for ten years now. I enjoy socialising and drinking - this has never interfered with my work or lifestyle as I don't get hangovers or suffer ill effects. I am reasonably fit and healthy, rarely visit the doctor or take medication. I would consider myself an anarchist as I dislike authority - mine or anyone else's. I am an egalitarian, this includes all animals.I believe in nonviolence and compassion to all living things. I became a Vegan 29 years ago purely for animal rights reasons after about 18 months as a vegetarian. I have been married twice and divorced twice, seems like a lifetime ago, and now feel that I am better equiped for a relationship. I am an atheist with an interest in why people believe in a god, and which one. I am not computer literate, e-mails ok but not much else. For the last 4 1/2 years I have been involved in couchsurfing, mostly hosting. It's been very interesting meeting people from all over the world and making many friends. My traveling is usually to the UK to see my adult daughter and son and my brothers. I am looking for a female 'soulmate' to share the good life with. Someone who will share some of my interests and allow me to share some of theirs. If you got to the end of this, well done!
