A native Californian ocean lover, I believe compassion and joy is for all beings, big or small. I have worked in my personal and professional life to uphold this philosophy each day.
I enjoy thrillers (both books and movies), fiction, conflict memoirs by women, museums, traveling, almost all music that features the bassline, power walks, especially in big cities, biking, yoga, hanging out with my dog, swimming and I love to laugh.
I am in a transitional space, waiting for the next chapter to begin so I am interested in having good conversations, laughing and learning.
A vegetarian for 12 years, I became a vegan 3 years ago. I am a food lover so the best thing about becoming a vegan has been the great vegan cookbook collection that I am building.
Unfortunately I like the look of the recipes more than I do cooking them but the various ones that I have tried and keep recooking have been good.
