I grew up in northern NJ, went to college locally in the early 70s, whilst I moved around a lot to different spots in the US. Settling into one job in 1988 for 30 years. Retired and moved to Florida in 2019...have a sister and brother in the area. NJ suburbs weren't harsh, but Florida for the most part is more conducive to outside activities, (although some would dispute that in the summer sometimes . I like to swim at the Y pool, and casual bike ride, so it works year round. I have a modest home, which also works. I am a very interested amateur musician, playing guitar and keyboards. Like to just enjoy life like most, pretty simple, nothing special is necessary. Except....
Being in a natural setting is very settling...birds, trees, quiet. Also like to interact with people. We're all in this together. Quite disheartened by the past election. As I heard this morning..."action counters despair".
