Hello! I'm Alex, and very new to this scene. I've been vegan for 8 years.

I'm pretty silly, and almost always happy. I'm finishing up a law degree in Victoria, BC after an undergrad in Environmental Sciences in Guelph, ON. I grew up in Northern Ontario where it's quite cold in the winter. One of my favourite memories there is riding my bike to school alongside my brother in the winter. My mom's log house is in the country, so we got to ride on a small forested country road in the cold air. -10C, packed snow on the roads, sunny. Beautiful.

I like most sports: running, cycling, climbing, squash, canoeing, skiing (both kinds), sailing.

I love board games, and cooking! Before law school I did some custom woodworking. I built a canoe from scratch, which was a great experience. Though most of the work I did was in furniture restoration.

Oh and of course, I play guitar! Mostly just so I can sing along though.

I don't drink or use any substances. I'd love to find someone who shares that. I'm also atheist.
