Vegan Passions Forum

NOTE: JULY 2019 - We recently re-activated the forum after (MANY) years of it being locked down. You will see a lot of old forum posts because this site has been up and active for over 10+ years. Feel free to begin posting again and even replying to old threads that seem interesting. Posts appear in the forum area and on your profile page and on the Community page, so posting in the Forum is a great way to let other members get to know you a little bit, and it definitely helps with visibility in the site. Have fun!

Would you date an omnivore?

My aunt recently gave me a copy of "The Lusty Vegan," which is a cookbook but also offers dating advice for vegans--and it seems to be specifically related to dating omnivores. Of course, most of us don't have the luxury of living in vegan-dense communities, but even with the population scarcity in mind...

Would you be willing to date an omnivore [again]? What about an ovo-lacto-vegetarian? Feel free to respond with discussion in mind, or you can just leave an answer on the poll. :)

`Looking back on my life I wasn't always a vegetarian or vegan. I was a vegetarian since senior year of high school or freshman year of college then became a vegan for my ex-girlfriend. and was a vegan for 2 years even tho we weren't together for the 2nd year (recently became a vegan again). I guess the idea of it, sweaty meat pours or the killing isn't so lovely, but i would say love is love.

I tend to value knowledge, so even tho someone might not be on the same eating plane as me, if they are such a person to where I could learn alot about something useful then I'd value that connection and would probably over look the meat eating. That was sort of an ambiguous answer lol.

What does your book say?
