`I cant say ive not noticed this.Ok,once in a blue moon i might stumble on a vegetarian, but its always someone i briefly encounter, the only real vegans i know i met through a animalcharity i support. There are plenty of vegans out there im sure,i dont really have an answer as im having this dilemma myself right now,and i do consider it to be a dilemma...i want to find a vegan partner but im getting no younger and times passing me by....i am seriously considering dating a meateater,in fact i have been, but its proving so difficult,i feel like we have so little in common and i just can find no real true common ground .Maybe you could join a group of some kind or take a veggie cooking course?i imagine there are few people in hawaii at all let alone vegans,i dont know.....i know there seem to be a lot of american vegans.Good luck in finding one!!!!!

`I always though Hawaii had lots of raw vegans there working on organic farms and so on. Hawaii is the place to be if you are a practicing raw vegan.
I would love to live in hawaii.
Keep looking! x

`As far as I know Hawaii is certainly no hotspot for vegans. Higher food prices, limited arable land, high cost of living, small population, and location all contribute to this. Sounds like an ideal locale though, I agree.

`Disagree!
Hawaii is loaded (compared to FL).
Big Isle is loaded with veggies. The mix over here seems better than in a big city like Honolulu.
Anyway, your dude will show up. He'll be dining at the health food store's cafe, working on an organic farm, farmers market vendor...
