Raw toothpaste

Here is a recipe I came up with for a non-flouride toothpaste.

4 T (tablespoons) bentonite clay
4 T water (or more if needed)
2 t freshly ground cloves
6 drops of fresh food-grade mint oil (I used spearmint).

Add all dry ingredients first and mix well. Add oil and then enough water to make a nice paste. Use small amount and brush daily.

I decided to use bentonite clay because the calcium in the clay may help to remineralize teeth. It helps with infection, tartar removal, gums, and absorbs toxins from the body.
