Im trying to place the actor you mention.
I think Richard Gere is not to bad an actor,he is strict vegan.

I really liked his voice saying all those cool things in "Earthlings"

My favorite vegan entertainers are the band "Cattle Decapitation"

(The band name symbolizies how mankind have become cattle through thier ignorant repetitive ways and those ways need to be cut off.)

I've read that Tobey McGuire is also vegan. Not 2 sure though since he says he has honey and milk chocolate every now and then. Somebody needs 2 remind him what VEGAN means! any way, cool 2 know that there r vegan actors.

You aren't going to find very many ethical vegans in Hollywood. Thing of it is that being a celebrity is like being a politician. If you have any strong moral principles and you truly stick to them come hell or high water you are going to have a hard time doing well in the business of entertainment or politics. Anyone who rises to the top in either of those professions either has no principles besides self-preservation or they keep their principles in the closet, in which case you have to wonder how strong those principles are, or they severely compromise them to the point where they become nothing but empty talk that doesn't affect their career or possibly damage it. Sadly, if you want to find truly ethical vegans that talk the talk and walk the walk and don't decide right and wrong based on what is or isn't popular your best bet is to look among the commoners, such as on sites like this. There are plenty of people with strong vegan principles and morals but most of them are just too damn clean to go into or survive in the worlds of entertainment, music, sports, or politics.
