The long road that led me here was toilsome and troublesome, but I made it through, and there's no way I'm going back. I'm 14 now, (even though my profile says I'm older, but it's only because I'm not actually legally allowed to have this account until I'm 18) I've come a long way since 11 and it's all because of my favorite band, afi. I live in the USA and while things have gotten much better in past few years for vegan dining in restaurants, still as a vegan who refuses to eat mock meats, it is quite difficult dining even in 'vegan' restaurants. Fascination of Westerners (and many Asians) with fake chickens, turkeys or whatever, and their pride in making them as close to the real ones is quite interesting. It seems to me that they are trying to tell the world, especially the omnivore ones, that while eating meat is the real... 3 comments
